This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used, and disclosed by Deum Video Ltd. ("us", "we", or "our") when you use and access our video processing service, which includes the Deum Video app for Web (the "App"), the Deum Video website (the "Site"), and all related tools and services (collectively, the "Deum Service") or when you otherwise interact with us, such as through our customer support channels or on social media pages. We may provide different notices of our privacy practices with respect to certain products or services, in which case this Privacy Policy will not apply.
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you an email notification). We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access the Deum Service to stay informed about our information practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy.
We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, we may collect information when you create an account, upload videos, subscribe to a plan, request support, send us an email, or otherwise communicate or interact with us. The types of information we collect may include your name, email address, password, payment information (processed by Stripe), video files, and other information you choose to provide.
When you access or use the Deum Service, we may automatically collect information about you, including:

For example, if you create or log into your account through a third-party platform (such as Google), we will have access to certain information from that platform, such as your name and email address, in accordance with the authorization procedures determined by that platform.
We may derive information or draw inferences about you based on the information we collect. For example, we may make inferences about your approximate location based on your IP address.

We treat the videos you upload for processing as confidential information and limit our use thereof. The Deum Service automatically processes your videos, but this does not involve human access to your videos unless: (1) you provide your consent (e.g., for customer support); or (2) we are required to do so by law. We may use your video metadata (not content) to analyze and improve the Deum Service. You can opt out of having your data used to improve the service by contacting us at privacy@deum.video.
We may allow others to provide analytics services on our behalf. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Deum Service, including your IP address, web browser, pages viewed, time spent, links clicked, and conversion information. This information may be used to analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, and better understand your online activity.
As a general rule, we limit the circumstances in which we disclose your information to third parties. There is no human access to your videos except as described above. However, in certain circumstances, we may disclose personal information as follows:

We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. All data transmission uses TLS/SSL encryption (in transit) and all stored data is encrypted using AES-256 (at rest). However, we cannot guarantee the security of information and you use the Deum Service at your own risk.
Video Storage: Uploaded videos are stored temporarily in private AWS S3 buckets with strict access controls. Videos are automatically deleted after processing. Processed videos are available for download for 24 hours, then permanently deleted.
Deum Video is based in the United Kingdom and we process and store information in the UK and EU (London AWS region). Therefore, we and our service providers may transfer your information to, or store or access it in, jurisdictions that may not provide equivalent levels of data protection as your home jurisdiction. We will take steps to ensure that your personal data receives an adequate level of protection in the jurisdictions in which we process it.
You may update, correct, or delete information in your account settings or by contacting us at support@deum.video. If you wish to delete your account, you can do so in your account settings, but note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies. Removing or rejecting browser cookies does not necessarily affect third-party cookies used in connection with the Deum Service.
You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from us by following the instructions in those emails. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.
We store personal data for as long as necessary to carry out the purposes for which we originally collected it and for other legitimate business purposes, including to meet our legal, regulatory, or other compliance obligations.
